By resorting to so called liner renovation, it is now possible to rehabilitate several hundreds meters of piping in a single operation. Felt tubes, which are impregnated with special resins, are introduced into old pipes by resorting to a pulling-in or to a turning inside-out operation. The thus introduced tubes are hydraulically or pneumatically pressed against the internal surfaces of the pipes and, once the resin sets, one obtains a new pipe which is confined in the old one.
